Good luck - I had to send my wife out of town to make sure I would be on time!

Neil, outstanding setting, excellent turn out, excellent idea! Thanks you!

It's great to see old friends and meet more local listers, Neil, Steve and Cheryll (now I see the reason for the avatar ), Luan (I'm sure that spelling is way off, apologies), Rude Rob, Gunn E, and V2. Randy and Candi (hope I spelled that right), Chazz, Bill and Amy, Ron, Andy and Romi, great to see you all again!

Disclaimer: Now I must caution you Rennlisters, that there is a running high stakes bet as to who can post the most disgusting, untruthful Photoshop pics possible, some stuff was captured with this in mind, and I had absolutely NO part in this wager. Some scenes may be graphic!

I think the current bet is $1.22.

Thanks again everyone.

Thanks Kevin.
The owner of the winery asked me if we would be interested in doing another event in a few months, this time out on the grass area.
He would like to invite other marques to join us, and turn it into a sports car gathering. Maybe maybe open up to 914's ( I may have one soon!) , MG ( so Bret and I can bring ours also) and any others that the 'group' may have in the closet!

Thanks to all who came out....

Neil

Just made it in the door, Had to take my Newly throttle cable adjusted 944 through some twisties for a test run!!!

Had a great time looking at that fine collection of Porsche machinery, Meet some New people and Put faces to names.
all in all a great way to spend a sunny Sunday in San Diego.

Cheers to the Winery for having us,
any gathering with any of the Porsche lineup and other Marquees sounds like a great time to me.

Well Done,
Dave

I had fun too. Don't believe any photo of Kevin and I that you see. They are FAKE!! LOL! It was fun. Trip over ortega and up the 15, 2-hours. Trip home over the 78 and up the I-5 (including a stop for Mexican food) 1-hour ten minutes. Dam that was fun!! Great group of people, except Kevin of course (even though he did buy the last bottle downed by Bill's better half). Somehow a bunch of 944's snuck into the grown up lineup. Niel, that was your fault!!! Definately a good group of guys and gals, wish I lived closer. Shame on the low turn out from O.C.

I wish I didn't miss this, but I found out there was a "preschool' function that needed my attendance if I was every going to "get any" again.

But I do have my own "get together" function brewing, possibly late may or in June, but there will be no Jazz, and only wine if you offer up blood to the Porsche Gods.

Cheers to Neil and the RB Winery for putting allowing us to have our meeting there. I had a great time and really enjoyed putting some faces to the names.

But I was a little surprised that only two 16v's showed up – Neil’s 81’ & my 78’ (making mine the oldest Shark there). I was further surprised that mine was the only sunroof “delete” and one of two 5-speeds (not counting the half-8’s).

Here's some pics:

Can't wait for the next meeting!

I see Bill and Mongo haven't posted yet....I am not implying anything, but they did leave at about the same time. Think they would be done by now. :-0

Careful what you wish for there Ron...

Just got to work and I have EVIDENCE that Ron and Kevin appear to have "consumated" their friendship.

Pics coming soon...
