Default A Stupid Questions (Which wheels spin)

Even though my 82 928 is rear-wheel drive, do the front wheels also spin at a lesser rate?

My a/c's not working...........is that why the rear tyres wear out and the fronts don't.

Just dial in about 5 degrees Camber on the fronts and they'll wear evenly. :>)

When the back ones are not spinning more than the front ones, they are spinning just as much as the front ones.

they would only spin, if the car:
a) would actually move
B) the steering wheel is turned at the same time
c) the flux- capacitator is engaged

They can be. but then again, then they could be spining slower too.

Yes! Because "rate" implies a measurement of something over time, and I am also assuming that the front and rear wheels are both of the same diameter, but the tires are of a different aspect ratios, the front wheels spin at a lessewr rate when you are driving normally. However, due to the fact that 928's have more than ample torque throughout their power band, the reverse may also be the case. Well, unless you're going in reverse.

Don't forget if you're south of the equator, they'll spin left-to-right instead of the more common right-to-left.
