Hey if your gonna do it.....why not 2 6.5L strokers....since two stock GTS engines are "only" 690hp....clearly not enough to beat a Veyron......now two Louis Ott strokers......with about 675hp each.....1350 normally aspirated HP.......that would beat a Veyron!! Or at least do sweet burnounts trying!

just took it out.
i will change it for one of those carl sells at 929motorsports.
because turning corners with that speed made the OEM rear cross member flex and bend.
also, whenever i do an oilchange then (i have to pull the engine out of the trunk to change the oil), i can just hook the crossmember to the engine lift and pull the engine and tranny in one shot. and the cross member won't even buckle

Although this instance may be BS, I'm sure it COULD be done if one were so desiring...anything is possible with a big enough wallet.

The engines could be sync'd with a complicated cable assembly, or just be changed to drive-by-wire.

Didn't the video say this was a 4WD car? You could put a 911 transaxle on the rear engine, take out the torque tube, and put a standard transaxle behind the front engine. You'd need to move the front engine forward quite a bit to line up the axles.

Let me try to answer your question. I posted this "BS stuff" because I thought people would get a kick out of it. And some of them did, so that's great. Personally, I enjoy a little humor every day, and if its 928 related humor, that's even better.

Hayabusa maybe - IIRC they were Honda Blackbird engines - at the time the most powerful stock bike engines around - One for each rear wheel - no axle no diff.

I think they sorted the sync issue by using just one 4cyl distributor feeding both engines. I could be wrong it was about 8 years ago and my memory aint that good.

There is a twin engine Tibuton on Youtube. Both engines are from a turbo Talon/Eclipse and each are pushing near 300hp. Also I've seen a few years ago, at a local import car show, a VW Golf IV with two VR6 engines. One on the front and another one at the back. Each were driving their own pair of wheels, so it was a 4WD VR6 Golf. FWD cars are fairly "simple" to add another engine in the back, but for a RWD, it's bordering impossible/impractical.

No way! Not enough depth back there and who would care If they made it work? The design of the car simply does not lend itself to this. If you put this mush time in to a 928 you could probably get 800 Hp with one engine and still retain the balance and usability.
