The brown interior is in great condition. But it is the drab brown all over. I have a few questions about updating the look of the center console using the Jager real wood dash kit. I am thinking of a medium colored (i.e., not too dark and not too light) burl finish. Do I remove the original faceplates on the original center console dash? Or do the authentic wood kits use an adhesive backing and are stuck onto the original faces of the center console?
