Thumbs up ***Delete of Roman numerals on relays***

Well, after years of 928 ownership I finally got around to raising my “digitus medius” (middle finger) to those DAM ROMANS!

XVII… RIP

Before...

After...

Custom made individual stickers with “NUMBERS”, relay name, and relay part number. Interchange relays (141.951.253.B) are also clearly marked. The sticker set in my car were the first run, and don't have the interchange markings.

What do you think?

Cheers,
Michael

Now, color code them so you know which ones you can swap in case of emergency.

Michael,

That is one of the best ideas I have seen in a long time. If you not going to sell them, can you share the software so we can print and make the labels ourselves?

Seriously, that is fantastic! Looks like you actually have the part # on there, so that would address Tib's comment, because you could quickly see which are the same parts. Awesome work!

I totally agree; after all they built that friggin wall to keep us out (Hadriens for our historically limited freinds).

Great idea.

This is a kick *** idea. I need a set for the 78 and one for the 84. I guarantee one of the big three will be selling these within a year if someone (you) doesn't jump on it first.

Nicely done even with the font matching too!!

Before you all get carried away - not every year has the same relays or the same loactions- so there is more work to cover all the years than just taking what Michael has done so far! ...

Great Idea though! are you planning on making a series of these?

The fuses are already labelled wth numbers - its just in a location you can't actually see very easily - underneath! ... also of course there is no room for the function labels.

However it seems that a card tucked into a pocket on the cover with actual functional labels for the fuses that you could match up to the bottom of the fuses would be a great help here too...

Alan
