Default Britax Starriser Booster Seat -update

Greetings all:

Does anyone have a Britax Starriser Booster Seat they would be willing to sell. PM me if you do. I've been trying to find a booster seat to fit the back of the 928 with no luck.

Thanks,

Tim

Is this the only booster that fits back there? I will soon be needing the same thing and was looking at starting a thread myself to find out what works. My two little ones are already starting to get excited about rides in Daddy's new Porsche.

Depending where you live, you may have more options. In canada the options are limited and none fit.

I performed a search on Ebay for "porsche child seat". This is what I found....$885 + $25 shipping!!! Yikes.

It looks exactly like the Britax.

Just curious...will the Fisher Price Safe Voyage look-alike version not work for $79.95?

Lenox TattleTail seat works in the back of my '81 928.
The flip down rear support keeps the seat from tilting completely backwards, and it fits between the seat pillows.

Andrew:

It looks like the Starraiser has been discontinued. If anyone finds one available. Let the collective know or grab it.

Andre: From what I can see, the Lenox TattleTail is for babies/todlers up to 40lbs. We're lookng for the booster seat 40-90lbs.

I'm amazed at how difficult this has been.

That Fisher Price model looks like a great possibility. What are the dimensions of the back seat? The FP Safe Voyage seat lists 16"L x 12"W x 26"H.

Here are a series of links which I collected over the past few years showing child seat installations on other Porcshes. I hope you may find them useful:

I recollect from some post that someone mentioned this Britax seat will work on 944 rear seats. The rear frame footprint of this Britax seat will fit in just nice against the constricted base of the 944 rear seat:

I got a babyseat from my mother-in-law that she had for a long time. Fits pretty good in the '88. I will post some pics tomorrow.

I am working on 5 points using the back seats proper for kids.

Edit: There is a Century seat I used also but it requires a strap to go around the back of the rear seats and through the boost to bind it to the seat.
