Default It's tool time! (liftbars anyone?)

Spring is here! I'd like to know if I should buy new tools to make it easier to make more liftbars. Last year I did a lot of the prep work at a friends shop, but I'd rather do it all myself this year.

I am also tooling up for house projects, including a steel framed staircase, so it's easy to justify at least a couple of oversize tools on my list.

How much are you asking and how do they weigh?

Andrew,

Each bar is 25lbs. Click on the pic above (or here). There is a USPS calculator there.

Just ordered a set!! Cant wait to get them, Ive been waiting with baited breath until you were ready to make more!! Go ahead and get the tools!! You wanna make sure that staircase is done right the FIRST time!!!

Can we get a guesstimate when you might be done with the first batch?

John,

Thanks! I'm doing it a little different this time with the shipping. I'll e-mail you with the USPS cost when they are done. (EG. approx. $25 to CA, $43 to FL)

I'm going to make them as the orders come in, so yours should go out in less than two weeks. I only need a couple of orders to pay the up-front cost on the custom shipping boxes.

Ken-
I will be in Portland tomorrow evening through Wednesday afternoon. Any chance you have a set for early models finished? I could pick them up and save you the hassle of shipping.

Walt,

The slow boat shipping is only $42 or so to BC. There are quite a few Rennlisters in northern Washington, which only costs around $11 to ship to.

The lift bars are AWESOME! I use them all the time and they have saved me a tremendous amount of time and hassle by not having to deal with ramps.
