but as I understand you get both the rear and the front for 350?
Not trying to be trite here, but how did you come to this understanding? I thought I was pretty clear on the pricing at $300 per unit (piece), and I'm concerned that others may have the same misunderstanding as you did.

It's not a 2 fer 1 deal, of half off, or any type of combination deal. Basically, if we get at least 5 people to order a front or rear valance, we get a price reduction from $350 per unit (piece) to $300 per unit (piece) for a $50 discount per piece.

At this point, the group buy doesn't involve any other parts other than those listed in my first post, or any other kind of discount. I will make inquiries to AIR if anyone has questions beyond the scope of the first post.

Adam - instead of my calling them and confusing the situation, would you mind calling your contact and asking about the actual rear bumper is the S4-look? If you wanted me to anyway I will.

Thanks!

Thanks!
And ask them about the side skirts too. I'm looking at the front as well for now.

No problem, you just want to know if they still make it and if you can get the same discount right?

And ask them about the side skirts too.
Will do.

Here's the latest.

I'm working with John at AIR.

He says that they do still make the S4 rear bumper cover upgrade for the earlier cars. List price is $350, group buy rate $300.

The list price on the "S4" side skirts is $350, group buy rate is $300.

I told him what we had so far for interested purchasers and he confirmed we made the threshold for the 5 piece group buy.

If I can get ten units spoken for at this price, I'll inquire about a step discount.

So, who all is interested now?

Keep your eye on post #25 for the updated list. Let me know if you want on or off, or if you change your order.

Oh, forgot to mention. He said he would keep the group buy open for the entire month of April.

300 dollars for the rear bumper cover for the early cars is a great price, IMO.

So for 600 bucks I can get the front Valence, which is the valence that Pat Edwards used on his "Predator" car, BTW, and it looked awesome AND I can get the rear S4-like bumper. Honestly? I would have to either sand the bumper I have to get the paint off, or have it media blasted, which would be about 200 dollars, so my rear bumper would almost be free.

Thats some fuzzy economics if I ever saw it.

Here are some from an AIR kit we sold about 8-9 years ago. I can post more views if you need to see more.

I always believed there was a fine line between Rockers and valences that made the car look heavy (ala, Mustang GT rockers from about 1987) and parts that make the car look more complete and good looking. I am trying to find the later without adding too much glitz.
