Just make sure its pointing straight when you step on it and take some time to get used to the automatic and how it interacts with the new found power and torque...the tires will break loose when you wont expect them to now.
One mans experience.
Enjoy!

A bit of an echo to Tony's words, from a "huffer" with a 5 speed...... that tire breaking loose stuff happens in third gear, on a five speed...... at highway speeds........

Come on April, time to get the hot rods out.

How much time did it take and would you have been OK doing it yourself?

Cliff.....Fantastic.

I can't wait to get the cars together sometime this spring. Now you are going to have to sign up for a DE.

From now on when you buy tires, get six. You'll wear out the rears at least twice as fast as the front.

Yes it would have been fine doing it myself. It was a not such a bad job with the toughest being removing the stock fans. But remember I was a bystander and Tim and his guys were doing it. The rest of it was just bolting it on. I only opted to have Tim and the guys do it because I was there and he offered. We started on it at about 4:30 pm and had everything bolted on and the car running but not finished at about 3 am. This was going slow and drinking beer and taken time to eat dinner. It was a great time and and the car is amazing.

The only thing I ran into is the car now has a miss and I believe I have tracked this down to the sparkplug wires. The sparkplug wire's have not been moved for 20 years and I am real sure that with removing them from the bracket and moving them around is the culprit. I have ordered new ones. I am very happy with the car and how it all turned out
