what are the differences between 4.5l and 4.7l?

Default what are the differences between 4.5l and 4.7l?

not just k or l jet. but can i take things of of an 81 4.5l and slap them on my 83 4.7l without problems? and what can i swap? like plenum and injectors and valve covers and such is what i am asking for.

some subtle difference in clutches,and the clutch system and some other components ,but the main things, no.

There's also bore/stroke to worry about but obviously that's not important...

most (exterior engine) parts are the same, however.

the idea was to take off the spider and plenum and have it coated, while my car would be still driveable. then i'd put them on my other car.
i also want to do the same thing with the injectors. if it is feasable i would have them all refurbished and sell one set.
