Roadracing motorcycles is probably #1 hobby for me:
(amatuer #91)
After that, home repair/improvement,
Then, working on the 928...
Things are a little crazy right now, I'm taking 7 hours at the local tech college, and I teach a motorcycle course about one weekend a month... my race bike blew up a couple weeks ago, so I'm hunting for a replacement and parting out the old one... quality time with the family and dogs has been non-existant... probably should re-prioritize. Spend waaaaaayyyyy too much time on message boards... but I enjoy it.

1. 928
2. Saltwater fish and corals (mostly corals)
The saltwater hobby is more time consuming and expensive than the 928 hobby.......that's why the list is so short.

I am jealous, I have very little time for hobbies (I have two small kids and a time consuming job). Surfing the net (mostly Porsche sites) while at work is probably the closest thing I have to a hobby, other then my 928 (which I wish I had more time to work on and drive).

Skateboarding. My local skatepark has a special Wednesday night session called Fossil Night, everyone over the ripe ol' age of 20 gets a senior citizen discount - half off. I'm "only" 34, some of the guys I skate with are in their mid-40s. We just carve up the concrete bowl and the big ramp - old school style.
One of the guys who shows up once in a while to skate, and skate extremely well, last year sold his mint low-mileage '92 911 Turbo, Guards Red over black leather with red piping. He told me 160mph in 4th gear, but watch that drop-throttle oversteer.
Parenthood. My wife and I have a little boy just shy of 2 years old. He's a hilarious and hyper little information sponge. For some odd reason he is obsessed with cars and trucks. I spend as much time with him as I can, it's going to be a fun summer!
DIY home improvement. Gotta get our microhouse on the market this spring, as we outgrew it before the kid was born - and the recently more copious graffiti in the neighborhood park is all gang signs.
Reading: mostly sci-fi, but I am in the middle of Brian Greene's Fabric of he Cosmos right now. Whoa nellie - my brain is being stretched!
Writing: short stories, none finished yet, and the occasional essay about life.
Cars: this hobby is on hold since I sold my '86 Weissgoldmetallic 928 and all my dead RX-7s due to financial problems. My secret 928 slush fund is not growing very rapidly, but it's there.
Once in a great while, I attempt to play Gran Turismo 4. My goal is to memorize The 'Ring for when I drive there in real life someday.

My hobbie is taking every single bolt off a 928 and putting it back on clean.

I had 30 pounds of bolts stripped and plated with a silver coating, I think it is either zinc or nickel.
