Awesome, Roger!!! Maybe we can all go for a factory tour or visit the Museum in Langenburg with the 4-door 928 before or after the event. Let me know ASAP when you are planning to fly in and out; then I can investigate possibilities. And make sure you convince Kim to join us!

Wow, that sounds like fun. It's right at my 50th B-day too....but, with SITM a couple of weeks prior, and Le Mans that weekend, as well as two weddings to travel to in July, I probably need to stay home.

I have emailed Porsche about a factory tour on Friday, June 15, and to see, if they can put a few 928s in the museum... If they can't do Friday I'll try Thursday or Monday. You should definitely plan to stay there for more than just the event.

F4GIB emailed me that he's on a Friday morning factory tour in English language (9:50AM). Maybe the rest of us can get-in as well. We'll see what they say.

OK, guys, today (Saturday) is the registration deadline for this event. Have you all registered in the meantime? If not, do it quick... Flights are not getting cheaper, either, if you procrastinate!!!

As and added note, be well aware of the US-Euro exchange. I just reurned from Italy, and 1EUR cost me around $1.35. Use your credit card but watch the fees, they are charging more these days for currency conversion. If you call and complain they will usually waive them. Once you get there, buy a cell phone with prepaid minutes, it is a whole lot cheaper than using your own phone. Tell your cell phone company in advance and program the country code in case you need it for emergencies. If your passport is not up to date, get on it now. They are really backed up. Make a photocopy of your passport, just in case you lose the origial or it is stolen.

The most important thing is to take as many pictures as possible, for us poor souls that will not be able to attend.

Some of us will be at Lake Tahoe for Tim & Cheryl's SALT.

Can someone set up an internet televideo feed between
the two places ?

Will Stuttgart be 8 hours ahead at that time of year ?

G'luck all.
