That is from the April issue of which magazine? I can see where it came from, but it very much looks like the usual April Fool's articles that will soon be making the rounds.

That article has been around for about a year. I like NASCAR, passionately even, but I don't think that will happen.

the fact that the column is entitled "schwindle" gives it away pretty fast. Germans saying "ze" etc. is pretty funny. Would NASCAR even allow overhead cam engine?

Awww... come on now. I had a '73 Impala in H-S. I have fond memories of that car. I wish I'd brought it with me from Texas to Boston. It would freakin' RULE in Boston rush-hour traffic. I could scrape the remains of lane-jumping minivans off the fenders and not even scratch the ... rust.

Actually, I think it would be great if Porsche would enter NASCAR. At least Toyota has big enough ***** to engage American Muscle on their own turf.

I'd be shocked out of my skin if Porsche ever made a race car shaped like one of their road cars that wasn't made out of a 911. Gotta keep the 911 on top at all costs.
