Now, if NASCAR would allow rear-engined cars to run the ovals, I'm *sure* the marketing boys at PAG would jump at the chance to make their engineers figure out how to stuff a pushrod v8 into a 911.

From the photos I've seen, the Panamera isn't going to have round headlights. Round headlights wouldn't fit the corporate NASCAR styling.

They'd need to figure out how to make it weigh close to two tons, and handle like a wet diaper.

Seems legit to me. Frying Gizzard Motorsports has done "mahvelous" things in NASCAR!!

I don't think we'll ever see a Porsche running in NASCAR anytime soon. Even if they where to consider it they'd be stuck with the basic platform used by the other teams.

Personally, I suspect the next manufacture to enter the oval ranks to be Mazda.
