Jager X-Pipe
Has anyone out there taken a look at the Jager's new offering? I'm in the market for a X-Pipe and the fact that it's about $100 cheaper than a couple of the better known fabricators is appealling. My only concerns are that it comes with no gaskets or hardware and the fact that in the photos it appears mere pinched at the crossover point than the other ones on the market - see photos:http://jageng.com/garage9/product_in...88aaa8ec76e78d
Any thoughts or comments are much appreciated.

My price for the proven "Dave Lomas" X pipe is $399.95. So you are correct that it is cheaper - by 95cents.
However, as Jager point out, it does not come with any attachment hardware whereas the "Dave Lomas" X pipe does. Take that into account and it is more expensive.
Can't use cats, can't swop between cats and straight pipe.
I guess there is professional and professional when it comes to welding?
I wonder if they have dynoed it and are open to a comparison with the other X pipes on the market.

Rog, maybe you need to reduce your price to $389.99 :-). Are you going to bring a few to SITM?
And, don't forget about the previous thread about Jager: https://rennlist.com/forums/928-forum/323994-jager-is-a-no-show.html

Sorry Dave & Rog. I haven't checked out every X-pipe out there, but was aware of a couple of the major suppliers having them for about $500. No offense to your product intended.

Gio,
I will not be bringing any to SITM as that is Dave and Jeannies show and that would not be right.
Roger
Laird,
No apology needed - competition is good for us all.
Just wanted to make sure you had all the facts.

I overlooked that fact and I completely agree with your statement.

That angle looks wrong, The X-pipes from Motorsport, and 928spec and in design similarity, originally from Louie, have a more open angle that does not dissolve the pipes together as much.
