Jager is a no show
Guys, I placed an order (#152) with Jager one month ago in hopes of getting it in time for Xmas. Well here it is middle of Jan and I've got nothing but being out a couple of hundred bucs. I've called and e-mailed and nothing! Any of yo u know how to get in contact with a human there so I can get my order filled or money back?
Thanks

Strange. I sent an e-mail inquiry to Veronique there last week and had a reply within 20 minutes. Try veronique@jageng.com

What was it that you ordered? Was it some custom product, like Wood, Carbon, or non-standard metal or leather product?
Did you order online or over email or phone?
Some of the Jager products are made individually per order - because not all 928s are created equal and the low quantities of these cars out there it would not be feasible to stock all possible variations of such products. Some products take about 3-4 weeks to make, plus time to ship (remember,Jager is located in a different country).
Overall, my experience in dealing with Paur and Veronique has been great. They are super nice people, and very good to work with.
They are located on VAncouver Island, far out in the boonies. Sometimes power goes out in storms, and might take a few days to get restored. During that time, they dont' have access to their email. However, usually their phone still works (sans voice mail), and so does the website - since it's hosted elsewhere.
Just remember: Both Jager Engineering and myself are very small businesses. We don't have a full-time customer service staff, a big automated warehouse, and instant shipping. We try to give our customers as much personal attention as we can, though, while providing unique products to enhance the 928 ownership expereience.

i am sure it will be all sorted out. sometimes things happen, specially when you rely on the web as your bizz console.
about x-mas time things are super busy and one is backed up big time.
that can be very overwhelming.
but it also just takes a phone call to say 'hey we need a bit more time, but were working on it'.any intelligent person will work with you, when you let them know what's up.
**** happens sometimes and we can all understand that. communication is the key, specially when someone dishes out quite a bit of cash and doesn't hear a word.
bluemaxx, you are excited about your stuff you ordered and want to have it like yesterday , if possible.
and they are so swamped with work, that they prolly don't even know where their heads are right now.

Not that I know Jager or have any business association but the West coast of Canada including Vancouver Island have been pounded by severe storms over the last 10-14 days with many areas being without power let alone internet service. They may have more pressing issues to deal with before normal business operations re-commence.
As others have suggested start with a phone call to inquire your order status.

just sit back , relax , pick up the phone and find out...
that's not too much to ask now, is it?

I'm not complaining, i'm simply stating that it takes awhile. I am in VA just like the creator of this thread. Maybe he wanted to know how long it's taken other people in the same area to receive products.

I've placed several Jager orders and the customer service is top notch. Canadian mail does take awhile even under normal circumstances, but something must be happening to them with the storms if you can't get an answer. They've always responded promptly to e-mail and phone calls.
