Speed Sender for GPS NAV system
#46
My experience: I have a 910 TomTom (maps for the U.S., Europe and Guam!). Recently I took my shark in to the dealer and was given one of the latest Cayennes S which I drove from London to Norfolk . I tried to use the Cayenne nav system but it was not as easy or complete as the Tom Tom. Unless it is already fitted or you travel through a lot of tunnels I would rather go with the portable one. I would also recommend the TomTom (no affiliation).

the reverse connection is mainly for the rear camera if you have one. It will split the screen and show the back view automatically.
The Pioneer system does count the transmission's revolutions and might need to be told if going forward or backward. That I don't know.

Just finished the installation and man this thing is powerful - much better than my computer based unit.
This was an install for a customer so I will leave him to post pictures of the finished setup.
I have pictures of the install with the hideaway unit under the seat.
Pretty straightforward - however as this was my first I took a lot of time so I would get it right first time.
Thanks for the help.
