The 4 9x16 et70 993 wheels would be a great set, and a set of magnesium phone dials 8" and 9" wide...and OB approved!

also these

IMO, the 993 wheels-being 16"-wouldn't be much of an upgrade. Now, the 8/9 phone dials, that's a good find.

That's a pic from the PCA event at the Larz Anderson estate/auto museum in Boston. If that were mine you would probably see me on a ladder fixing something... Nice place and event. September.

Can you even get 16 inch tires for them anymore? Nothing shows up at TireRack.

Tirerack still lists the Conti SportContact, Fuzio ZRi, Avon Tech M500, Potenza RE750, and Yoko AVS ES100.
Surprised there's no Goodyear or Kumho in 245/45-16 in some sort of Performance Summer rubber.

The first link is my wheels for sale, thanks for the plug.

Tire Rack has 6 street tires and 4 race tires in 245/45-16. I run that size on all four corners of my 944 Turbo Cup car.

Me again (the guy selling the wheels).

I had a guy email me asking if the 9x16ET70 wheels would fit his 1982 928.

Would they probably fit, or would he need spacers, or.....?

Big ET is good for 928's. They will fit, might need spacers, 5 to 15 mm.

One other set of HRE wheels are here:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HRE-P...QQcmdZViewItem
I was seriously considering them and the seller seems like a good guy. Eli (626) 289-1462
He would take $2700, a steal for nice HRE 545's. They list for $1400 each. That's why you don't see 928s with HREs.
No affiliation.
p.s. these would look SICK on a black 928...

Any chance the 2-piece 18" wheels will fit on a 928????

I want to bid on them, but am leery of the 50 offset.
