shocks and springs for non track use
I've just spent the last hour or so reading suspension threads, but I never got a clear answer.
My car is 17 years old with 117,000 miles. The shocks and springs have never been changed. I know they need to be changed.
The car will never see the track, but only (very) limited amount of spirited driving. At higher speeds I do get a little floaty feeling.
I was just going to get the Boge shocks, but wasn't sure about what to do about the springs. Do I even need to get new springs? If I do, do I just get the Eibach's and be done with it? The Eibach's are all I see at the big 3.

I'd say don't bother with springs unless you have trouble getting ride height to spec. A new set of Boge or Bilstien gas shocks should give you another 10mm ride height on your stock springs, from what I've read.
