I think the dark grey is bad ***...not the problems you get with black, but the benefit of dark paint, as these cars all look good, but I think I like the dark colors best...until i have a red or silver one, then I may change my mind.

The tires are Michelin Pilot Sport P52. That's it other than the size. They are just about shot though and I'm looking to replace them. Any suggestions?

Unfortunately it's not the original stereo and the TWO codes I do have are not the right ones. So it's off to the dealer.

All in all great advice. Keep it coming, everything is new to me with this car.

Thanks for the paint code. Looks stunning on the GTS.

Actually IMO the PS2's are the best tires for these cars. I have them on 3 out of my 4 Porsche's and there are very few tires i like better. It is a very quiet tire good in both wet and dry. The only down side is the tread is not very aggressive looking but a great tire non the less.

The gray was a pleasant surprise. I was looking at red, black, and silver and getting ready to travel and check them out. This one showed at Willhoit's just before and he's only a few hours away. It couldn't have worked out better and the color was perfect.

Looks like a very nice car. Congrats.

I looked at buying this car about 10 years ago and past on it, looks like one of the many mistakes I've made over the years.....

It's really a small community isn't? I was told that this was one of about 24 manuals in 93. Does anyone have the exact numbers? How many cars in 93 and how many with a clutch?

Nice choice; I have a fraternal twin (AT) so I'm prejudiced. Check out ChuckZ's registry, click on the icon in his post. He is quite up to date on GTSs.

Yeah I too would vote you just replace the tires as is - Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's are great tires for this car... also you can fit 275/40's on the rear with no interference on the stock spacers & wheels if you want a bit more stick!

Thats what I run on my GTS 225/45's on the front & 275/40s on the rear

Nice looking car! and a manual too!

I'm not sure anyone knows the exact number of 5-speed GTSs. Here is some info from a post I made a couple weeks ago:

You have a choice of one of 419 GTSs.
A guess about the # of 5-speeds is probably somewhere around 30-40% of the total (again, just a guess) which would mean there are ~ 75 1993 models with a manual trans and ~ 150 of all GTSs with a manual trans. A very small number in both total GTSs and 5-speed cars.... And, just for Roger.... AT cars are a really small number too!
