Default Anyone know this car?

In my search I have run across what looks to be a very nice example, but it is a trek to check it out. VIN is WP0JB0922FS860563. Carfax looks good.

I don't know why I can attach pictures anymore???

I think your file format is wrong.

Try this ---

[XXX]http://forums.rennlist.com/upload/928indred4a.jpg[/XXX]
[XXX]http://forums.rennlist.com/upload/928indred5a.jpg[/XXX]

----Replace XXX with IMG

Assuming this car is as pristine as it appears with all records, very low miles, continuous ownership in family, what is it worth? I guess I'm asking if it is it worth more than the Excellence reports, because the guy wants quite a bit more. I will ned to drive 8 hours just to look at it, so I need to go with cash in hand prepared to buy.

From the Carfax I guess it has 65-70K miles? I would say it is worth $12-13K.

Looks like it does have the side molding/rub strips to me. Still a very nice looking 928.

I don't think it does have the mouldings and the price is 18.5.

I was almost side tracked by this car, but an 85 Shark is a much better choice for the money, don't you think

I sold this car in 99 to help pay for my son's college. I've been looking for it since 2003 when he graduated, but it's disappeared from the face of the earth. Not that I would want to drive it all the time. It's much too difficult to handle, but I put years of work and every spare cent I had into it, and you know how much of that you get back when selling...\

Can a more modern rear wing replace the lip on the 85 without modification?

The colors all wrong and the spoiler is too small. Stick with the 928.

By the way, what is it with Rennlist and Ann Rand? You're the second post I've seen with the old John Galt tagline.

I agree!

I agree!??

Could it have the moldings on just one side?

Is it 5 o'clock yet; this is looking like a very long and confusing day?!

Randy - read "Atlas Shrugged", by Ayn (with a "y") Rand. One of the greatest books written....that'll answer who John Galt is...
