Do a search here on Rennlist for Maverick Marsellis and you will see that he is a theif. He stole a widebody that was recently recovered after a year or so. When the original owner got it back it had been painted and the interior was redone in silver and purple. I know that sounds like a joke but its not. DO NOT DO ANYTHING EXCEPT CALL THE POLICE.
EDIT: I just read Kieths post. I guess he beat me to it. I was just in a huge hurry to post after seeing the name Maverick Wallace so I stopped reading and posted. Thank god we were able to save another 928 from this guy. Good job Rennlist

There has to be a lot more to the Maverick story.....as I believe I met him at the 04 Sharktoberfest..he won an award for his unique cowskin interior...and he was at this past Sharktoberfest (06) too...where he had two cars..and one buxom blonde...with intersting mods (the cars ..maybe the girl too..haha)..carbon fibre look leather...yellow headlights..etc... He left a bunch of shirts/hats on our cars at the final luncheon on the last day of sharktoberfest 06..
Just read the previous posts..so yep..same guy.how in the heck can he continue on...and just casually browse amongst us...selling more 928 modifications through yet another company..??????
later,
Tom

How is it that "the cops don't want to arrest this guy" as stated in the other referenced thread? What's his loophole? It's not like the guy is hiding or anything...

Tom;
I also remember speaking to him at in '04. He told me that he had just bought a widebody car. Lo and behold, poor Marcus H. got hosed. I still have some pics of those crazy cow skin seats somewhere.
Crazy world.

Yep he was at Sharktoberfest last year promoting his custom 928 interiors. Showed up for lunch on Sunday then left all of a sudden before they started taking orders. When we all left we found he had put flyers, hats and shirts on everyones cars.
Strange...

In case people have not figured it out by now, ONLY ACCEPT CASH ON LARGE PURCHASES! If you can go to your bank and get a cashiers check for $15k, you can get $15k worth of cash! Paypal and your bank will take money right back from you and tell you to figure it out yourself!

Been told that only US Postal money orders are guaranteed. That other money orders, Western Union mo's, even cashiers check can bounce or be recalled even. Your bank cashes it then charges it against your account once it comes back to them as no good. Only the US Postal mo's are supposed to be safe. Course, I guess unless someone either stole those or counterfeited them.
