Not having a permanent address or place of employment gives a scammer an advantage. We had a tough time going after a scammer for exactly that reason. Where are court papers going to be served if there is no address to find them at? Justice via the law makes assumptions that do not apply to career criminals (and/or they have learned to game the system). Locked screen doors simply keep like-minded gentlemen out.
