Default Broken Grill

Hi all,
Recently I noticed that the front grill of my 83' "S" was hanging down. When I got a closer look it turned out it was barely hanging on there. I took it off and now I need three new vertical grill supports. Does anyone have hem cheaper than 27 buck a piece like International had them up for? Thanks

Tony

We have them made since Porsche no longer makes them used ones are very tough to find in one piece. So the only new ones now come from us.

They are kind of stupid little parts but getting someone interested and paying to make a mold then do small production runs ends up making them way more expensive than it seems like they should be. Most companies do not want to make a 100 of anything...

Aluminum would be nice, light, and less fragile

$25 + shipping is a steal. Someone better jump on that. I would if I didn't have a brand new set waiting to install.

Jump dude. I re-did mine last year and the center is not available. I was able to buy the 2 outer ones and modify an existing broken one to hold the center in place. $25 is a great deal.

We make both the center and the shorter outside uprights in molded plastic but the used deal above is a bargain !

Hi Jim
Do your new grill pieces have a different geometry? There are some thin areas in the original that seem to beg for more material. Did you make them out of the same stuuf that the olds ones are made out of?

Thanks
