Doesn't the direction of travel affect the rate of acceleration? I mean, if I'm traveling east towards the rotation of the earth, well, you have to take that into account too...

It matters in NY, after a bit of going east your in the ocean.

Where can you get KOA wood? I have a few pictures framed in KOA and have tried to get more. I was told they outlawed farming it about 20 years ago.
