Data points?? But then you say no one checks the overall market. If you are saying there is a not a homogeneous market, i.e., buyers are not aware of the "market" I agree, too many variables, season, location, phase of the moon. If anything hurts the market it is cars with questionable backgrounds. A buyer is justified in low-balling a car or a seller that has issues.
