Check the connectors closely front and back.
Any charring or browned plastic means there's a loose connection and will need to
be tightened up before the fuse/relay goes inop.
I got one for the starter relay on the 88. Lot 'o current flows throug that grey spaghetti.

Brenden, I assume you're referring to the splice you zoomed-in on? If so, my bet is that it is not factory. At least it isn't standard for S4 CE Panels. I've seen the back side of a couple of S4+ CEPs and not seen anything like that. I may not have seen enough of them though.

Its an 86 Dave, thanks for your comments. I haven't looked at it again since the picture, but I am concerned this was something that may have to be investigated. I guess I will look at the pin outs and see what it is (or is not) connecting.
