Thumbs up I went to GZILLA's lair...really nice 928.

I spent some time while in Seattle searching out GZILLA's lair (Heinrich's '87 S4) and was pleasantly surprised to see this beautiful car sharing lodging with various other interesting 928's. Heinrich has put some time and thought into the white car's improvements and it shows it. I thought I had a pic stored on my hard drive of this car, but I can't find it (Butt shot showing GZILLA's creative "tatoo"). Heinrich is a true 928 afficionado and drives his passion daily. There were lots of subtle improvements made to the car but the stitched leather interior and 996 sport seats really make the car extra nice. I learned a lot in a short visit. I think he surely wins the prize for having the most tenacious T-belt in the entire 928 world! It was shreaded beyond imaginable use and still functioned on a car with a seized water pump. Maybe the Tbelt's not the achilles heel many think?

It's an OK car. The seats are decent.

It has a CS/low option euro look inside with the old-school-perforated-speaker-leather-door-panels.

LOL I wake up and what do I see but you guyz yakkin behind my back ..... It was a pleasure to see you Harvey. We need to get you out here for a 928 drive ASAP. I like to keep that shredded tbelt and thrust bearing failure block around to win friends and amaze the complacent.

Brian, Godzilla lives here under water http://www.gonorthwest.com/Washingto...uget_Sound.htm

It's Mothra that lives here http://vulcan.wr.usgs.gov/Volcanoes/...n_rainier.html

Ken, thanks for the nice words, your car is very red and very skinny

Tim, get out there right now and don't return home without a 928. GO.

Jim, Godzilla weighed 3374lbs with the 928S4 sport seats. He should be lighter now with 996 sports. I am on a quest to pull everything that isn't one of the following:

functional
attractive

So, everything I can replace with an equal but lighter part, I do.

Gzilla's a "he"???? Anything as curvaceous and graceful looking at that beautiful white car has to be a "she." Heinrich, you should look under his/her rear end for validation. However, I could be wrong...I didn't hear him/her roar or experience the LSD.

BTW, Iceman, Seattle has many volcanos near by.

Brenden, I also saw the best Black '89 body you can imagine (In process of restoration), another white S4 that had a timing chain/pads/engine that looked practically new after considerable miles. And a Guards Red 85S that needs someone to drive it more often....and other stuff that we all would like to have in our garages.

Heinrich was working at home that day trying to make money up for another 928 when I interrupted him and bled his brain for as much info as I could get.

What was embarassing is that I was driving my wife's Camry. I don't drive good cars in the salt on the winter roads.

Harv it's blatantly obvious man! The masculine growl(X); big 19" stompers; Tokyo-smashing torque; brawny fenders and stance; ballz ..... there is no question he is all male. Chew 'em up, spit 'em out. No mamby-pamby 12-way heated makeup mirrors, no feelgood cushy bottom rear ac, no oozing suspension .... RAW STOMPING POWER!!!

Quick Reply: I went to GZILLA's lair...really nice 928.
