Talking 928 in Marbella, Spain!!!

Look what I found earlier!

I walked past andI had to snap a pic of a local 928-er. Wheels are a little ugly... and a gross sticker on the side...

Yea, it had 928RS on the back and a large "RS" on the pillars behind the window. Even the same rims! Looks like a few years between photo's...

What are the odds of posting a random one of a kind shark to have to snap a pic the next day?

Marbella Spain, home of the retired Mexican Presidents (except for Carlos Salinas de Gortari in Ireland). Beautiful city

Is the plate on the front the same? I'm about to do a search to find it!

I found it!!!

and mine... from moments ago... (just for comparison)

Looks to have had a hard time, recently? Just a tad dirty from the last time it was posted. So, who's car is this? Does anyone know? I saw that "Terra-pistris" posted the original fotos? Where did you get those?!

Too bad I don't get a prize for finding it!

Interesting flash back - my '80 arrived with similar 3-piece Gotti wheels: they were a high $$, light weight item of the era.
Hummm -must dig them out of the attic and flog them on ebay ...

My 78 had a set of tired looking three peice Gotti's as well. Similar to the one's above but without the "twist" and showing their age. Probably could of had them referbished but I didn't like them as much as the 5-spoke lightweights I now have. Ugly or not - truth is the 16" Gotti's are lighter than my 18" lightweights.

Must've been a popular item at the time - I've seen a few older sharks with the Gottis so I'd guess they where a dealer option or something the owners took care of right away.

Here's a pic of my Shark when I first got her.

Wonder if they'd be good track day wheels?

Arrow GT in Spain

Look out for Pablo's GT next time you're in the Canaries. This pic was taken while we were attempting a TB/WP change.

I am glad to have learned something about the wheels. At first glance, I didn't think they were all too spectacular. I even snarled a bit. :[ I guess that just shows perhaps I'm too young at times. *shrug*

Spain: nice weather and roomy houses.

First two spanish 928's I see in this forum. I've spotted only 3 different 928's in my area, but haven't contacted any. No wonder why it attracts so much attention in track days.
