Funny, in the mocha brown car, it looks like there's a factory installed passenger!
BTW, ditto re: inability to access the photo link in your signature. Thirsty for more of your work, I too, tried, but was unsuccessful. Hopefully that can be remedied so we can view more of your fine work.
Just curious -- what model did you buy in '77?
Thanks Again For Sharing!

In 1977 I ordered a new 911S,--which I picked up in early March 1977. Because of substantial revisions to the 911 line during that time the factory was closed to visitors; the 928 line was soon open in the Fall for tours. These shots were from October 1977, when the factory was able to accommodate their new car guests. I was never able to afford a 928.
The following photo was from today. We had a good PCA breakfast show of cars as seen here. (Mine is the blue one)

Hi Dan,
I will definitely check out your 'spy shots'... thanks.
Looks like your local PCA group runs the full gamut of Porsche enthusiasts. I did a double-take --thought you were parked next to RSKY BIZ at first glance! Wow!
(Except I'm holding off on the front tag)...

Edgy01... Dan, you've thrilled a bunch of good people.
Thnx for the fascinating stroll thru intriguing places.
G'luck.
p.s. you could sell pics-on-a-CD here by the bushel, at
reasonable prices, of course (income poll notwithstanding)

Thank you very much for the pics Dan.

I think if anything, you had the great foresight to have a high end camera to take magazine quality images that survived the test of time. Seriously, these are 30 year old pictures and are of better quality than I have seen of the 928 in many books or magazines. I suspect you will be contacted in time, to have these images purchased from you. Again, I think this is more than what you think it may be. This is very important.

You're all welcome. I can't believe it's been thirty years. It's a testament to the 928 owners out there who have kept these fine machines alive and running all these years. That's not a simple (or cheap!) thing to do with a 9-2-8.
I shot these pictures with a motorized Nikon FTn with a 24mm f/2.8 Nikkor len on CT18 Afgachrome 35mm slide film.
Here's to the next thirty years.
