The quote for the C38 units that i got was 3312 USD incl danish VAT (VAT=25%) but in the US the quote is 2295 USD.
Dont think it's a mouse trap they are using rotrex units on the koenigsegg + ferrari's + bmw's etc

There is one C38-81 Rotrex setup for GT currently under work that I know of. Original plan was to put it where airpump is but there isn't enough space. Current idea is to put it on other side where alternator is and put small alternator in place of airpump. Late model VW diesels have small alternators which produce enough to work as replacement for stock version. If such part will actually fit between AC and cylinder head is found out during next week or so.
Rotrex plumbing will be pain but it looks doable. Current thinking of crank drive is that AC will use stock V belt wheel as its furthers back anyway and thus it can stay in stock position. Power steering pump will stay in same front/back position as stock too but will be mounted to same plate to where Rotrex is also mounted. SC uses 8 rib belt at frontmost position on crank. In between these there in will be 6 rib belt for alternator.
Cheapest place which sell these was in UK. Cost was around 1600-1700 euros. Manufacturer in Denmark asked 1800e for same package.
Rotrex has taken SC rpm to all new level I think.

Looks like it would be suited to go into the same place the V sits with Tim's Kit. The bracket would need a different dimension.
