I've been talking with the guy that organizes the local GTG for the BMW 8-series folks. He is interested in having a joint GTG with us - and he actually used to own an '88 S4.

This started out a couple of weeks ago at a P-car GTG when someone suggested the similarities between the 928 and the 8-series BMWs (GT Class, expense, current market value, maintenance, etc.). One local guy has installed a twin turbo system on his 850. Don't know how many 8-series there are locally, but I know we can get a least a dozen 928 together.

Good point. We were thinking about Rockville, MD - where the usual BMW meet is. But haven't finalized anything. If you can make it Art we would love to have you. Maybe we can possibly move up north to shorten your drive a little. Either that or drive faster.

John John- How about Leesburg... Good " Middle Ground" & close proximity to lots of fun roads. And Winchester is hardly F'ing Ohio Besides, I'm only 20 minutes from Summit Point Sounds like fun!

You have no idea!... Last weekend, Chris & I drove Mount Weather up the mountain from Rt 50- down the mountain to Rt7, & onto River road -back up the mountain to Rt. 50 ending up @ the River. Incredible Run-& an un-interrupted 45 min. blast of ADRENALINE!!!
