If you don't make it to the GTG, have a safe trip home. If taking 95, stay close to the speed limit south of Richmond till you get to the border. If you're taking 81 from Virginia, watch out for the fog.
How could they not see me with all of those Euro side markers? Ooh, I wonder if this one has a rear fog light. Thanks for the warnings. I'm planning to take 95. Anyone know of any points of interest along the way worth stopping for?

Damn I hate to see this Euro go!! Sorry Mike. I hope you get the full use of her.

If you can, take route 211 off 66 back down to 81!!

Gas stations.

South of Richmond - really watch out. You can tell because the road splits (trees splitting both directions), and the last time I was on it it, was a very nice stretch of payment - road's just asking to go fast. After two tickets, 2 different times, I set my cruise at 4 over. At 2AM I must have counted 3 cars pulled over.

Also, radar detectors are illegal in VA. Prob is VA State Troopers have detector detectors and they use them down there. And regardless of what people claim, I think they work.

I won't be able to make it. POD is out to replace the odometer gear and vacuum actuator. First gear wasn't correct, waiting on the second one.

Looks like I might be able to swing it.
John, let me know if you want a map (or maps) to Starbucks and/or Tower Oaks Lodge. Might be a good idea to have something for the drive to Tower Oaks....for those who get separated & don't know where it is.
I can save in .pdf format and upload in a link on my site. Everyone who wants one can click and download. PDF should open for everybody.

Or you can go here.
http://www.clydes.com/main/Find_Us.c...wer_Oaks_Lodge

I'll try to make it up there. I'd like to see some examples of fully assembled and mostly operational 928s. Maybe even go for a ride in one if someone is feeling generous.

I think we're good to go - snow stopped. Don't let the cold stop you. See you guys later.

Hope you do. Starbucks is very close to Clyde's. No prob taking you for a ride and then returning to your car. Take your pick - but preferably a P-car rather than a BMW.

Default Maps

JPTL has created downloadable docs of the driving route and map for Clyde's at Tower Oaks (aka Tower Oaks Lodge)

http://members.rennlist.com/jptl/Driving%20Route.doc
http://members.rennlist.com/jptl/Map...ks%20Large.pdf
http://members.rennlist.com/jptl/Map...ks%20small.pdf

Route directions will also be handed out at Starbucks.

See you guys there.

Sorry I couldn't make it today but I blew a radiator hose drifting my vette and my wife didn't want me to go out to play since I spent the week working in FL.

Any pics? Also, was any "spirited" driving possible?
