It might appear that way but I bet it will take some trial and error to get one right. Imagine all the money and time it will cost to make this “simple” intake.

Drive your ‘84 for a bit, then decide if it needs any upgrades. I’m starting to think that perhaps you bought the wrong model/year 928. Were you dissatisfied with all your previous cars too or just with this 928?
Except I am not inventing a new kind of clock, whats good in an intake is a known thing, I walk past Mark's intake every time I am in Greg's shop.

Besides if it gets talked about here, and it seems like a good idea, somebody will do it and I can say, yeah, do one like that for me too. But, I suspect the Euro S parts will be just fine, so its just speculation.

You have the wrong impression, I am not picking at my car because I don't like it, its because I DO LIKE IT, and want it nicer. That isn't to say either that the overall experience doesn't have a large dose of education in it.

You are correct - except the only unit I have seen so far for a 16V is down under - like I said before. Talk to Greg Ray (it is Greg's car I'm thinking of isn't it? with the ITB setup?)

Mark's intake cost more than you paid for your car. If that is what you want then write out a check and have one made for a 16V.

It took me two weeks to get around to cutting two 3" sections of silicone hose to make my intake air tubes, so I may not fabricate a new spider soon, but a man can dream can't he?
