It might appear that way but I bet it will take some trial and error to get one right. Imagine all the money and time it will cost to make this “simple” intake.
Drive your ‘84 for a bit, then decide if it needs any upgrades. I’m starting to think that perhaps you bought the wrong model/year 928. Were you dissatisfied with all your previous cars too or just with this 928?

Besides if it gets talked about here, and it seems like a good idea, somebody will do it and I can say, yeah, do one like that for me too. But, I suspect the Euro S parts will be just fine, so its just speculation.
You have the wrong impression, I am not picking at my car because I don't like it, its because I DO LIKE IT, and want it nicer. That isn't to say either that the overall experience doesn't have a large dose of education in it.

Mark's intake cost more than you paid for your car. If that is what you want then write out a check and have one made for a 16V.

It took me two weeks to get around to cutting two 3" sections of silicone hose to make my intake air tubes, so I may not fabricate a new spider soon, but a man can dream can't he?
