Default Another addition to the fleet - 2 wheel variety

Been thinking about it for a while...the bug really 'bit' me in the last couple of months. I finally bit the bullet and cut the deal on Friday. (My rationale - the sales tax is tax-deductable! - LOL).

Here's a pic. This isn't MINE - but almost exactly the same bike.
It's a 2007 Kawasaki Nomad 1600. It is a BLAST to ride.

Be safe. 2-wheels are not as safe as the P-car.

Nice...I wanted to go that route but ended up making a pact with *mephistette*- I said motorcycle, she whined, I offered bike or 928...so I got my Euro.

Congrats!

I hope that your skills are in tune as your p-car. 2007 will mark the eighth year I've been teaching the MSF course, and I'm still learning myself! If you haven't ridden in a while, or you've never taken the course, go take one. The insurance discount you recieve will offset the cost... and it will greatly increase your enjoyment!

You'll have to ride over to Jennings GP and meet up with us when we come down to do "motorcycle DEs" (track days) down there... next one is first of March!

Congrats! I like it...

1600cc, big comfy seats, long strait Fla roads

Is their still no helmet law down there??? I was there a couple years back and it seemed like NO helmet law meant NObody wore helmets. A couple guys on sport-bikes had them but they were defenatly the minority.

And whach out those new tires can be slick!!

Florida has a 'no helmet' law (For 'no hat'...you gotta have injury insurance)
....BUT - I will DEFINITELY wear mine!!!
No prob on the new tires. Already over 350 miles

congrats,
I have a 03 636 ZX6R
I do have full gear and full face helmut. Including SIDI boots.
I havent gotten onto the track with it yet, nor have I taken a riding course. However years of dirt biking did help alot.

Congrats on the new ride from a life-time "committed" biker (currently 75 Norton, 79 CBX, 82 CBX, 91 600 F2).
