Default Mintex racing pads (new) F/S 1984 type (fronts)

These are brand new in the box and available for $99 to the first to reply! normally, $200+

they are great for dual purpose DE/street and of course, racing. However, for some reason, they dont squeal like pagids or other race pads. grip is great, and act very much like street pads on the street and race pads on the race track!

Once I figure out my situation on brakes I will buy them, if you still have 'em.

Hi Mark,
I might be interested. I need to replace rotors soon and while I'm at it I'd like to do something to make the brakes on my '83 a little "better". I'm considering an upgrade to S4 suspension, or just to S4 rotors if I'm convinced there is a clean way to do it. If all else fails, there's always better pads on the stock rotors.

How much increased wear on the rotors will these pads cause?

Are there 'higher performance' rotors (like cast hole rotors) available for the '83?

Any other suggestions on upgrading the '83 brakes?

PS Pelican advertises Mintex pads for 82-86 for quite a bit less than $225... see http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/...BRKpad_pg1.htm.
Here's a set of Mintex "racing" pads for $125:

How do these compare to yours?

Thanks,
Rick

You can go to the rotors that have slots. the work very well and look good too, if you have wheels that show the rotors. the pads for $125 are the mintex racing pads (CTech) those are the same pads. so, we will let them go for $70

let me know.
