Loser skeptics - 928 owners too poor for 6-speeds!

Im married, unless he left last night as i was not paying attention to her and writing these book responses
these conversations, are ALWAYS better to have in person and with a white board. Its like we are all speaking different languages. The only person that really got anything out of all this was the guy that thought a CVT would run at max engine torque. (and maybe John with the same hp, same speed, same rear wheel torque regardless of gear ratios, exersize)
and by the way, Glen's is better?

There are many specialists in many areas of engineering that dont have college degrees. and i would bet their specific, formally trained knowledge in those specific areas, against most any educated generalist any day of the week.
The questions and discussion here, although individually, the concepts are relatively simple, combined, can be fairly complex. we have varible torques and HP, fixed gear sets, constantly changing acceleration rates, mechanical limitations, etc. Even more variables in the platform. friction, drag, inertia, polar moments, CGs, Cp, all sorts of other factors, which make this discussion so interesting, but really so complicate. As we have seen, the hardest part is asking the right question. And, for the Answerer, answering the question.
on the web, with only a writen word, interpretation becomes the largest variable here!

Jim---
I know what you mean, it's just sad that some of these guys (very well intentioned, I suppose) get obnoxious about their debate about "whatever"......
I'm certainly no engineer, or have a college education for that matter.
I just have experience from the school of hard knocks-----it's a pretty good school as long as you don't get hurt and it doesn't cost you a lot of money.

I'm just glad Mark is so well liked......
I have often referred tech questions (from other folks) to him, 'cause he's got all these years of experience to go by......I certainly don't---I'm just a rookie.
Imagine if they didn't like him.....he-he-he---
