I guess in 2 years those speakers have disappeared. But, as you note, you felt the need for some subwoofer supplementation, as has everyone else. It doesn't take much. If our seats had a little more room underneath, a sub from Subaru would do. They are amplified, work very well, fit under a WRX seat, but not a 928 seat.
