Not sure about an 80 euro.
Maybe the others will advise.

Good Luck on your project

Some exhausting questions... since I plan on changing out the exhaust on my new to me '88S4 in the next few months.

Given the different pipe routing of the '85 and the '86.5/S4...does the X-pipe replacement fit well without hanging closer to the ground than the stock muffler setup on the S4?

When you do a cat-back straight pipe replacement on the '86.5-S4, do the pipes run down each side of the car along dual paths rather than together along the single path route of the '85?

Is there a preferred cat-back pipe routing for the S4?

Which cat-back X-pipe seems to be the best fit/sound/quality for the S-4?

How does one ship such a long exhaust setup? I have a great condition '85 catback exhaust that I'd sell but I'm not sure I want to try boxing it up and shipping can't be cheap.

BTW, Shane...those are great fotos. Thanks.

Harvey

It will fit on any early car, as long as you utilize a stock 85-95 dual outlet cat or an aftermarket X-pipe. The later cats and x-pipe should have no problem bolting to stock exhaust manifold.

X-pipe goes in place of the cats. Fits about the same.

If using 2 exhaust pipes, they would follow the stock path. Not much room under rear crossmember for 2 pipes side-by-side...the pipe would have to be small diameter or they would bottom out.

Stock, unless you go with a single pipe, then stay on drivers side for shortest route.

That's like asking what size boobies are better. Correct answer is....all boobies are good

Could be a problem if it can't be taken apart in sections like the early exhausts.
