The painted over rubber parts is a complete joke, I imagine the paint looks like **** in person.

its weird it reminds me of the Kennedy Funeral where the horse is being walked and the boots are backwards. Also was for Reagans funeral if i remember. I was curious if it had to do with the previous owners death, but thought that couldnt be unless he like to "dress up"

"Doctor owned" is not necessarily a high recommendation, IMHO. I have a Dr. friend(Chiro actually), we've been friends since high school. You wouldn't believe some of the stuff he did... Stereo install in his Nova while in college, amps and crossovers screwed to a 1"x12"x3' plank with 3" deck screws that stuck out the bottom, plank then tossed in trunk and wires twisted together then insulated with masking tape. The trunk mat was shredded in short order, and the stereo was always going on the fritz. 9" wide tires on 5" wide rims, etc. etc.
IMHO someone can be a brilliant Dr. yet have no clue whatsoever about mechanical things or how to use them without tearing them up. The torn up door is probably from the Dr. having a folio or briefcase in the right hand when getting in/out of the car, and a fistful of keys in the other hand, which scarred up the door. Shame though, it looks like this car is well into a downward spiral.

Dave I agree with your Dr. assessment. My dad is a doctor and my brother is soon to be a doctor and I have a few friends that are also in or about to be in this field and I can say without hesitation that the majority of doctors could care less about their belongings because 1. they don't have the time to deal with it, 2. They make enough that the losses due to lack of care/maintenance is not as much of a big deal, 3. they don't have the know how to care for these things, 4. things aren't always done in good taste...like the stereo install you describe
