Default Intake Spacers for 87+ 32v cars - any interest?

I am about to pick up my 6mm thick aluminium spacers for the intake of my 1990 GT. My machine operator can produce some more if there is interest from any 1987+ 32v owners. What are you guys willing to pay for a set of these?

Yes, if the price is fair; how thick are they?

How's your dry sump coming along??

I might be interested in a pair depending on the price.
What is the gain using the spacers?

Interested of one or maybe few sets. Real gain is in stroker engines.

The costs - I dunno yet. I still have not picked them up, thus I don't really know the damage.

Gains - I have a X-pipe and a Eisenmann back box, and I will be installing headers when the spacers go on. Then I will remap the engine with JDS' help and will see.

Overall, it is good to see some interest from you guys, and I will keep you posted towards the end of the week.

alex, mine cost more than i would have thought for such a small piece of metal.. i think these are difficult/time consuming pieces to make so i was paying a lot for uk labour costs.

Larry, I believe the gain is low end torque. Not sure what it will do to high end, but I don't expect you're going to be running over 140mph for any period of time or high revving in lower gears. You will have to make some mods to accomadate them though. You will certainly have to lose your fuel rail cover/insulators. Is it a worth while mod? I would think it is as the torque should be noticably different at launch and gear changes at low rpm.(somebody correct me if I am wrong please.) Need to know the magic price though

I've heard of them, and seen them, but what exactly should I expect to gain? Is Kieth correct, or does anyone have actual before/after dyno results? Worthwile on stock/nearly stock engines, or mainly for strokers? Might be interested as well.

But the testing never happened and the individual sold the car. Not sure what he did with the spacers.

I had all 3 waterjet cut as the milling costs were stupid high. Then I sanded/polished mine.

waterjet cutting doesn't yield a perfect finish like milling so there is a trade off for cost.

My results listed above was also done using an over bored throttle body and no MAF, both of which are a bottleneck on a stroker.
Water Jetting is a bit rough, but as you say it gets the job done.

An additional point for those that have not seen the inside of the side plates on the S4 is that they are boxed, like for strength, and that, combined with how close they are to the horns, makes me think some memos were not recieved during production planning, and Porsche intended to put more space between the sides and the horns.

The corners and turns and 180s that Naturally aspirated air has to make in the S4 intake is horrible. Anything we can do to improve it would...improve it.
