Anyone have any good ones? I'll start us off.
Spending so much time in Bev hills where Priuses (Priusi?) outnumber boob jobs, I want to get a license plate that says something to the effect of:
"I'd rather get 15mpg in my Porsche than 50mpg in your toy-car hybrid!"
"Buy a Prius, more effective than a Vasectomy"
"I'd rather walk, than drive a Prius"
"Prius Owners: Take the bus instead, you're slowing me down"
As you can see I'm quite biased, good MPG is fine, but the Smugness and moral superioriority these losers exhibit just bug the hell out of me.

x-posting from another thread:
Ever since I saw the South park episode
I call those smug-mobiles.
If you don't want to watch the whole thing, watch from 3:00-3:15 and 6:50-7:30. Those two segments about sum it up, IMHO.
How about reversed lettering at the top of the windshield that says, "Get your lame squirrel-powered hybrid out of the left lane so the rest of us can drive?"
Anyway, I love Nicole's license plate frame -- here's mine:

Dave:
'Teutonic Charcharodon'....
I like that. Nicole, that's a good one too.
How about the old standard: 'You could have had a V-8'?

Separate but related somehow-- My dental hygienist was bragging about her new 'green' Camry hybrid last week. Then went on to say how she is going to have to start working Fridays to cover the payments. Gently (she was holding the tools in my mouth...) I asked her if driving the extra day was going to make her total gas bill about the same. Blank look tells me she's math impaired.
I'm giving very serious thought to the RX400h hybrid, with an eye towards doing a plug-in charging system and some firmware mods to get it to stay in electric-only mode in <45mph city driving. Lower/no gas consumption for 80%+ of my driving will be cool. Avoiding the motor fuel tax will help my good cheer. Claimed performance is better than the RX-350, so that's part of the excuse too. I don't need to commute to work every day, the bulk of my scheduled driving is the food market and the wine store anyway.
------
The Prius comes equipped with a big dash display that tells real-time fuel economy. Drivers get focused on that display, and discover that a gentle foot and lower speed nets better fuel economy. They often forget that they are in the higher-speed HOV lane, and drive slower and slower to keep the display numbers high. Hey, there's a lane over there on the right for folks that want to drive that slow! Prius gets best mileage on city streets, so go drive it there if the numbers at freeway speeds don't cut it for you.
"I didn't say you were driving too slow. I did say that you are in the wrong lane!"

I want a plain frame, something that looks nice with the Zinc Metallic and holds the license plate firmly, not something that translates to please key my car you retarded hippy.

I'm on board for this. I have a thin plain black frame with no inscriptions.
A cop friend once suggested that you shouldn't hav ANYTHING on the car that might cause a second glance. Nothing that stands out. Interesting car with no visible model designation? Describes my black 928 to a T. Anything that might help someone pick the car out of a lineup? Nope.
No tickets or even pull-overs in the 928. I've been clean and speed-sober for over 20 years... That's my story and I'm sticking to it. OK, I kept it under 100 almost the whole drive home yesterday morning from parade float testing. So I'm not really clean, but I'm not that dirty either. Not compared to others on the road anyway. This morning doing 80-ish uphill on the 2 freeway on my way to a morninng tire-test blast, I'm standing still compared with a silver M3 out for a morning tear at 120+. No enforcement. Hey, all my friends are doing it... It must be OK.
