Default Roger & Ed's excellent adventure: San Jose to Dallas

We made it to San Bernardino last night. With the exception of the starting issue in San Jose, the car runs and drives great!

We shadowed another 928 goingdown the 210 thru Pasadena for a bit at 7 pm or so last night...anyone here?

An early start this morning, we'll keep you posted. I'm posting from my PDA, so I'm being brief.

Half way across the country in a 928. I'm jealous. Be safe guys. See you Dec. 11th for the TB/WP party.

Rog & Ed - Hope the heater works. Might need the chains. You guys are driving right into a blizzard here. Easy does it. Mike - I think the TB/WP party is 12/9-10

Hey guys,

Keep the shiney side up, the weather here in DFW has turned nasty. Call if you need help. Roger, we will expect you to bring the new addition to the coffee meet on Saturday for all to see.

Maybe we should start a budget 928 road trip challenge, who can buy one the cheapest and drive it the farthest?

Hi Jim,
How bad is the weather in Texas?

As long as Roger doesn't follow his British instincts.....

Dr. Bob-it wasn't black, it looked Cassisrot in the dark.

BTW, we just crossed into AZ @ about 8:25am local time.

Nice! glad to hear it's doing fine, though if it were me there would be a certain pucker factor involved any time I shut it off. Might want to load test the battery & check out the charging system when you get a chance.

Hi Shocki,

Right now it's coming down in small ice pellets and the temp is supposed to drop to 25F by late afternoon. Rained all last night so the roads are wet and starting to freeze.

I cannot believe the weather you guys are having in Texas of all places. In NY it is currently about 60 degrees, which is just as weird...did we trade weather somehow?

Good luck on the road, guys, I don't envy your having to drive into sleet and ice...scary!
Best,
Leslie
