I used the 928 as the driver today and it did way better than expected in this stuff.

I love this car.

Ed/Rog, hope the trip is going smooth and trouble free, If you get stuck in Az, i've got family in Mesa that might be able to help.

Will do.....I'm snapping some, but forgot my camera cable. We're making great time-coming into Tucson now. We'll be back in DFW at a good time tomorrow, and should not have to contend with any ice or snow.

Hi Guys,
Good luck in the weather. I have driven a shark in ice quite a bit. I have used one as a daily driver for over 13 years. Here in NC we tend to get a lot of ice. One thing to remember about the shark is that when the *** tries to get around on the ice, sometimes a little gas is better than anything else. I had the crap scared out of me on the freeway one night during an ice storm. There were people off the road everywhere. As I came around a gradual bend, the *** started to slide around. I gave it just a little goose and it came right back in line and took me another 90 miles home.

Good luck,

Hi Jim,
If you don't like the TX wheather..... wait a minute

Let me know when he makes it....

We have a wonderful fall/winter in Bavaria. Overall dry and cold with a little fog in the morning. Good weather for my GTS to continue to hibernate. My 944 S2 is my winter daily driver.

Take care and drive safely.

It was 70f today in Boston...possibly global warming? Naaaaah.
If it gets to 100 in boston and 0 in Texas, then the end IS here. I'm ready now.

Hi Guys and Girls,
Great days driving today - just under 1100 miles - cleared AZ & NM and now 100 miles South East of El Paso with less than 500 miles to home.
We will be home for Lunch if we leave early in the morning.
Closed another bar down tonight!!!!!!!!

Roger... don't sweat the weather. You can always stay on I-10 to
San Antonio and sneak home to Dallas on the 35 North.

G'luck.

1100 miles in one day and still comfortable and rested enough to close down the local bar! The 928 is a fantastic car.

We're fine on the weather-cold, but clear and dry.

I'm jealous! Any long road trip in the 928 is an "excellent adventure".
Next year I might travel out of the east for one of the other epic 928 get togethers.
Good luck, have a great time!!!!!

Go, go, go! Nothing like a good road trip to blow the cobwebs out of shark & driver(s).

IIRC eastbound looked just a good.

When I was westbound on I-10 last week we were seeing one DPS per 100 miles. How many cruisers have you seen?
