My Euro did not sell on Ebay. Please help.... Relisted and SOLD!
Well, my Euro did not sell on ebay. I do not know what to do. I really need to sell it. YESTERDAY! The highest bid it got was $1825. I paid $2000 for it 3 years ago. It is 400% better shape than it was when I got it and I thought I got a good deal. I could sell the borla exhaust and the heads, headers, intake and cams and probably get more than that. I am so mad and frustrated! Does anyone want to buy it? just make me an offer higher than $2500 and its yours.

I look at the car and I see many work items. It is a 1980, normally people can't throw those away. And I look at the pics and see seat covers and door panels missing and frankly rear wofers scream kid working on his car .... You believe it is 400% better .... but is better in your words, better in others' words?

Were it closer to TX either Roger of I would have at it. Sigh, windy city is not for me. Why does your location say Seattle, and item is in Chi-town?

A few people make money on these cars....but very few, actually. I don't expect to. I think Heinrich is right. It is a shame when a few parts could sell for more than the car as a whole. However, eventually, it'll be just the right car for someone.

Another problem....transportation and delivery. I've made an offer on a car in the western US....1200 miles away and I figure it will cost me $1500 in gas and trailer costs to get it to Idaho (If the seller takes my offer). It needs a belt job so I'd not drive it like I did my last purchase. I drove the 968 from Atlanta GA (one-way plane ticket, 3000 miles, a couple small side trips, motels, gas, etc.) and it cost me about $1600. Shipping w/a proven good shipper wasn't much cheaper. What I'm saying is that not many are prepared to pay almost as much for shipping as they would pay for the car. It all factors into the total cost. Like Doc Mirror, if your car were close by I'd consider it.
