Default JV - Stroker Motor Dyno Tuned

Sorry I don't have the hp numbers, I left when they were just tuning. Hopefully it was over 500rwhp

Here are some pictures of JV's 928 race car with many updates

Most photos are self explanatory
JV is in third to last photo
Chris Musante is in the last photo. You won't find him in a 928 too often

Those are Tassinari front flares and Ott rear flares. JV has done nice work throughout the car

Any more pictures of the dry sump setup? Bracketry, lines, crank sprocket?

But, I think we'll be seeing him behind some 928s, yes?

JV, You've got a serious monster there! Very cool.

Not sure about the DC, CM said he did a best this year at LRP of 56:nn*, that is a lofty goal. Now at a track like WG I think there would be a more clear advantage to JV. But of course CM runs in GT3 anyways.

Not sure when he will hit the track next, clearly the intent is 2007 at some point.

He does have 305s on the front and said he will be working on the airbox.

* corrected 11/15/06

Stan, I think you missed a number in there somewhere. A Yugo can do a 1:56 at LRP. JV was doing 1:0x before the monster build. (I remember because I was using your timing box )

Yes, Dave you are right the 1: should be removed, it would only be 56 seconds.

Them intake trumpets look so nekkid.
Need'em wire mesh.

Liked seeing the Can-Am and other historic racers at Wadkins Glen with tennis ***** on each trumpet when being worked on in the pits.
Tennis *****. Makes great towing hitch covers and intake protectors.

Nice work on JV's car. Looks so different now.
Isn't the 928s rear bumper cover lighter than the S4 cover?
Figured the flat 928S rear light covers would weigh less than the S4 6 bulb extravaganza.

Ernest (NYC) Switching to LED bulbs so I'm on intimate terms with the S4 cluster.

Don't think there will be any rolling road test, but I could be wrong.
JV will probably post here at some point, but he said an ignition issue kept them from getting numbers higher than 6k rpm, but he did make his minimum goal of more than 500rwhp

He didn't say how much more
