WTB a tweeter ring and grille for the door panel on an S4. One of mine cracked last night.
Anyone have an extra lying around they want to sell? Thanks for the consideration.

Well I found the grille and superglued the ring back together. We'll see how long it holds. I would still be interested in buying a tweeter trim ring if anyone has one.

I apologize. I have that project on my To Do list and haven't followed through. After some research, (I spoke to a machinist friend of mine) I still have to buy the raw materials to make the initial batch of test rings. Obviously some will fail to measure up but after the learning curve we figure we'll be OK (maybe ten sets until we get it right). I just haven't bought the aluminum stock from which we'll cut the rings. Been too busy trying to pay all the goons that hang around my back door wanting money.
I'll get it done yet. My ring is superglued together (second time) and I am getting tired of it being like that.

Reinforce the super glued ring by by placing dabs of glue about an inch apart circumferentially around the grill on the back side.

Yeah, I put a bunch of glue on the grille itself at points around the ring to integrate the 2 pieces. At least it will prevent another grille Sproinng! if it cracks again.
