Scott,

I actually had a problem with what seemed to be ignition. The car would get worse and worse over the course of 10 minutes of driving. Seemed to feel like it was either not getting fuel or ignition started to cut out. It would get worse as load increased on engine (ie going up hill) and then I'd restart it and it would be fine. I had to do this the whole way home. (220 miles) Mo seemed to think it might be the ignition box going bad. Going to grab a used box from Rog and see if it cures the problem.

The green wire or coil could also be a possibility. Might want to have a look at these as well.

Is it strickly run time related?

Yup,

Almost exactly 5-6 minutes after the car is heated up and under load. Turn off car, turn back on -problem solved. 5 minutes later-same drill

How long did it actually take you to make it home?

Default Hello from DaLian, China

As others have said, it was a fantastic event this weekend. Both Karen and I had a great time catching up with some old friends and meeting many new ones. We're already looking forward to next year's event.

Many thanks to the organizers for all their hard work and of course the 'pit crew' for the timing belt retension tech session.

Sean,

We just took it easy going back, several stops. About 70mph. Took us about 5 hrs.

Rob, you still in China?

I was when I last posted. I am now in Tokyo just hanging at the hotel waiting to transfer to the aiport for my flight home. It's been a long trip bouncing from one city to the next, I am anxious to get home and trade plane and bus rides for the comfy seats in the 928.

Chuck sent me a CD with some photos from the event on it, so I have uploaded them to the 928oc.org website here

Looks like it was a great event!
