Leather seat covers on ebay

I emailed the seller asking the leather type he uses and if there's other colors available.

i honestly wouldnt trust anyone other then Paul C or the others that actually show a porsche seat with a fitted cover. That thing could turn out to look like an overlay or something.
With seats I think your better off paying more for proven quality from someone you can trust. Especially considering we have a few very capable people doing leather things for our cars.

I think it is important to note that although these are advertised as "authentic reproduction", they are not.
928 leather covers are not made that way. The back insert needs to be a separate floating unit.

They are a well known seat kit supplier and I was referred to them several times in my (so far) unsuccessful hunt for B & W pascha op art material. They are located in Thousand Oaks, CA or thereabouts, IIRC. About 1 hour from me. But I have no other knowledge of their quality or service.

Thanks,
Thanks,
I do offer just the covers for those who want to install them themselves. My help and pointers are free
I offer the covers in both the traditional piping design and my new updated French seam design. I make these myself, in-house and each one is test fitted before it ships.

Hi Paul,
Really nice work on the leather .
Your web site is not clear on the price of the traditional 928 DIY front seat kit. "From $1100.00", that's sort'a like... "well under $500 000".
What would my set of stock 1988 seats in blue leather cost?
Interested,
Michael

that kind of puts me on the spot a little. I am preparing to offer a group buy on both the traditional and the French seam seats and will also offer the sport seat conversion at a special price.
I will post detail pictures of 2 new set of front seats in a couple of weeks and will use the opportunity to launch the group buy.

very well, in fact, it's ready
I am currently making 2 very different sets for members of this board. Each will showcase the French seam design and other options available in both styles.

Like I wrote above, I will launch a group buy in a few weeks, and for those who know and can appreciate this type of work, it will be an offer difficult to pass on.
